Stephen Haney is Vice President, Chubb Group and Division President, North America Surety and Chief Underwriting Officer, Global Surety. Mr. Haney has executive oversight of Chubb’s North America Surety operations and underwriting responsibility for Chubb’s global surety business. His responsibilities also include oversight of strategy, product and business development, underwriting operations, and profit and loss performance for the division.
Mr. Haney has nearly 30 years of underwriting experience. Prior to his current position, Mr. Haney served as Executive Vice President for ACE’s Surety business worldwide. Prior to ACE’s acquisition of Chubb in 2016, he was responsible for ACE’s Global Surety operations. Mr. Haney joined the company in 1997 as a Surety Underwriter and has served in positions of increasing responsibilities in underwriting and product development.
Mr. Haney holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Penn State University.
