Stephen Haney is Vice President, Chubb Group, and President and Chief Underwriting Officer, Global Surety. Mr. Haney has executive operating and Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility across all aspects of Chubb’s Global Surety business.
Mr. Haney has nearly 30 years of underwriting experience. Prior to his current position, Mr. Haney served as Division President, North America Surety and Chief Underwriting Officer, Global Surety, where he had executive oversight of North America’s Surety operations and underwriting responsibility for Chubb’s Global Surety business. Prior to ACE’s acquisition of Chubb in 2016, he was responsible for ACE’s Global Surety operations. Mr. Haney joined the company in 1997 as a Surety Underwriter and has served in positions of increasing responsibilities in underwriting and product development.
Mr. Haney holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Penn State University.
