Scott A. Meyer

Biography

Scott A. Meyer is Senior Vice President, Chubb Group and Chief Operating Officer, North America Insurance.

Mr. Meyer has nearly 35 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to his current role, he served as Division President of Westchester, the company's wholesale and excess and surplus lines insurance business. He joined the company, then ACE, in 2008 as Executive Vice President, Professional Risk, ACE USA, and was promoted to Division President of Professional Risk, ACE USA in 2012.  Mr. Meyer was named Division President of North America Financial Lines in 2016. He was appointed Senior Vice President, Chubb Group in November 2019.

Prior to joining ACE, Mr. Meyer held several leadership positions at AIG, including President of the Financial Institutions Group, head of the Mergers and Acquisitions Insurance Group, Senior Vice President of AIG Executive Liability, and Senior Vice President of the Strategic Risk Group. Earlier in his career, he was a co-founding partner of Ambridge Partners, a specialized Managing General Underwriter (MGU) of transactional liability insurance products, including representations and warranty insurance, tax indemnity insurance, and contingent liability insurance. Mr. Meyer began his career as an underwriter in Chubb’s Department of Financial Institutions.

Mr. Meyer holds a degree in Economics from New York University.
