Chubb’s Apprentices come from many different backgrounds and experiences, and we celebrate that diversity. No insurance experience or training is required—just a drive to learn and grow. This program hires exclusively through local workforce partnerships.
The Chubb Apprentice Program provides the skills, mentorship, and professional development to help you build a lasting career in insurance from day one. Choose from three career paths: Claims, where you’ll support clients while building analytical skills; Underwriting, where you’ll evaluate risk and calculate premiums; or Tech, where you’ll gain experience in cybersecurity, data analysis, and software engineering.
Technical and on the job training continues throughout the program.
Foundation & Integration
Complete enterprise onboarding, learn Chubb’s culture and business, build relationships with the team, participate in team learning activities, and begin foundational training for the role.
Technical & Team Development
Focus on technical training within the apprentice’s functional area, deepen team-specific knowledge and processes, apply learning through hands-on work, and continue building proficiency with increasing responsibility.
Independence & Growth
Demonstrate proficiency in role responsibilities, operate with greater independence, contribute to team goals, and prepare for continued development beyond the apprenticeship.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED before their start date and at least two years of work and leadership experience. Candidates who earn a bachelor’s degree before the program ends are not eligible for consideration.
