Inside the program

Who are we looking for?

Chubb’s Apprentices come from many different backgrounds and experiences, and we celebrate that diversity. No insurance experience or training is required—just a drive to learn and grow. This program hires exclusively through local workforce partnerships.

What will you learn?

The Chubb Apprentice Program provides the skills, mentorship, and professional development to help you build a lasting career in insurance from day one. Choose from three career paths: Claims, where you’ll support clients while building analytical skills; Underwriting, where you’ll evaluate risk and calculate premiums; or Tech, where you’ll gain experience in cybersecurity, data analysis, and software engineering.

One Year. Real Impact. Your Future.

Technical and on the job training continues throughout the program.

Testimonials

What memory from the Apprentice Program stands out most, and what has been your biggest lesson?

"My greatest memory from the Apprentice Program was the opportunity to collaborate with my team on group presentations and projects, which helped us strengthen our communication and public speaking skills. It was also especially meaningful to learn from experienced colleagues, grow through the experience, and feel like a valued part of the team as I saw my contributions make a difference. My greatest lesson was the importance of being adaptable, asking questions, and staying open to feedback. I learned that growth happens fastest when you are willing to learn, take initiative, and step outside your comfort zone. Be proactive, stay curious, and approach the program with a positive attitude, because the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it."

Kahdaysia K.  - Compliance, Claims Support

"My greatest memory from the apprenticeship program has been watching my cohort grow together as we stepped into our roles, developed professionalism, and showed up each day as our best selves. My greatest lesson has been to never be afraid to try something new, embrace the unknown, and stay curious. My advice to future apprentices is that no matter how much you may know, there is always room for growth."

Giavonni J. - Claims Coordinator

"My favorite part of the Apprentice Program was being able to meet weekly with my fellow apprentices and share our experiences. We were able to exchange advice, feedback, and knowledge about each of our journeys here at Chubb. The greatest lesson I have learned from the apprentice program is to check-in often. Check in with your manager about your career growth. Make your team aware of the progress for your work items and check-in to ensure you are going down the right path. Communicating where you are at and where you want to go, allows opportunities to open for you."
