Melissa Scheffler is Vice President, Chubb Group and Division President, North America Personal Risk Services. She has executive operating responsibility for the personal lines property and casualty insurance business that serves affluent and high net worth clients in the U.S. and Canada. Her responsibilities encompass strategy, production, product development and management, and P&L performance.
Ms. Scheffler began her career with Chubb more than 30 years ago. Prior to her current position, Ms. Scheffler was Chief Operating Officer for North America Personal Risk Services. She joined Chubb in 1994 and has held a variety of roles in underwriting, sales and management in personal lines. Ms. Scheffler has also served in marketing and branch management roles in the field, including her post as Pittsburgh Branch Manager. Ms. Scheffler was appointed Chief Operating Officer for the Mid-Atlantic Region in 2018 and was named Mid-Atlantic Regional Executive Officer in 2020.
Ms. Scheffler earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Spanish from Colgate University.
