Global Head of Technology
Gordon Mackechnie is Vice President, Chubb Group and Global Head of Technology. In this role, he leads Chubb’s engineers across software, infrastructure, cloud and all other forms of engineering. Mr. Mackechnie also oversees Chubb’s Global Cybersecurity, Corporate Systems, and Technology Enterprise Services.
Additionally, Mr. Mackechnie manages Chubb’s Investment in Technology Committee, working with each business line and region to help drive a modernized user experience transformation across Chubb’s enterprise.
Prior to joining Chubb, Mr. Mackechnie held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for the bank’s core infrastructure, end-user technology, production support, group architecture and cloud technology. He was also a member of the bank’s Group Operating Committee.
Previously he spent 11 years with the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), where he held the positions of Head of Finance Technology and Head of Change for Global Banking and Markets.
Mr. Mackechnie holds an M.S. in Geographical Information Systems and a B.S. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, both from Scotland’s Edinburgh University.
